Begin your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel. Afterward, embark on a day excursion to Punakha, a journey that takes you across the stunning Dochula Pass. At 3,100 meters, the pass offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayan range, especially on clear days. Take a moment to admire the beauty and perhaps visit the 108 memorial chortens (stupas) that grace the pass.
Continue your journey to Punakha, where you will visit the majestic Punakha Dzong, an impressive fortress and monastery located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. Known for its stunning architecture and historical significance, the dzong is a must-see landmark in Bhutan.
Next, visit Chimi Lhakhang, also known as the Temple of Fertility. This revered temple, dedicated to Drukpa Kunley, the Divine Madman, is famed for its fertility blessings and unique, unconventional history.
After exploring these cultural treasures, return to Thimphu in the evening.

Option 1: Hike to the Iconic Tiger's Nest Embark on a hike to the iconic Tiger's Nest Monastery (Paro Taktsang), one of Bhutan's most famous landmarks. The hike, which takes about 4-5 hours round trip, is both challenging and rewarding, with opportunities to explore the monastery's chapels and shrines upon reaching the top.
Option 2: Drive to Chele La Pass Alternatively, you can opt for a scenic drive to Chele La Pass, the highest motorable road in Bhutan, at an elevation of 3,988 meters (13,084 feet). From the pass, you can enjoy stunning panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges, including Mount Jomolhari and Jichu Drake on clear days. The area is also known for its vibrant flora and fauna, making it a perfect spot for nature enthusiasts and photographers.
After your chosen adventure, return to Paro and spend some time exploring the charming town. Visit the local market, where you can browse for unique Bhutanese handicrafts, textiles, and souvenirs. In case client wishes to prepone /postpone his or her travel dates, we request you to kindly reach us 15 days prior to journey date via e-mail/SMS..
The customers can prepone /postpone their tour once without any additional charges (if intimated before 15 days of travel date in written). However postponing & preponing is subject to each service providers ( whose services are involved in this booking ) cancelation and amendment policy. Also an amendment for second time will attract additional charges.
Also note that few service providers (Hoteliers, Transporter etc.) may apply postpone/prepone charges even after meeting above requirement. In such cases postpone/prepone charges will deducted from the advance amount deposited.
In all prepone or postpone scenarios, the services and the costing will be subject to availability of Hotels and servie providers, also a rate difference based on season or off season may apply.
We do not accept any changes in plan within 15 days of travel date. However in rare cases like adverse climatic conditions, pandamic or war, package can be postponed, which will be intimated to you beforehand unless the changes was in an emergency.
The validity to utilize your advance payment in prepone/postpone scenarios is 1 Year from the date of advance payment.
The advance payment and the invoice Number allotted to you, are transferable** i.e. you can pass on your booking to any of your friends/ relatives. (Please Note: In order to transfer your booking you must meet the above terms and conditions first).
